Tutorial Education Program (PET)

The Tutorial Education Program (PET) is a Brazilian academic program managed by the Ministry of Education. It is organized into groups linked to undergraduate programs, in which students develop teaching, research and outreach activities under the supervision of a faculty tutor.

Created in 1979, the program aims to involve participating students in a thorough educational process, providing them with a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of their field of study.

UFSC has more than 20 PET groups distributed across the university’s campuses.

The Local Monitoring and Evaluation Committee (CLAA) monitors and evaluates the Tutorial Education Program (PET) groups at UFSC.
